About 2 hours Easy

Why not take a tour through Glengorm’s history? Including a look around the Castle’s exterior, a visit to the 4,000 year-old Standing Stones and a stroll out to Dun Ara, one of our two forts.

There’s plenty of opportunity to spot exciting wildlife here, with Hen harriers and White-tailed eagles regularly sighted. This walk also takes us past Glengorm’s beautiful conservation meadows and species-rich grassland, with a wealth of invertebrate and plant life waiting to be admired.

You may also be lucky enough to see seals and wading birds by the shore, with the islands of Rum and Coll providing a beautiful backdrop out at sea.

  • Fairly even under foot. Some steep slopes.
  • Sheep-grazed pasture. Can be muddy in places.
